Stress is a dynamic condition in which an individual is confronted with an opportunity, demand, or resource related to what the individual desires and for which the outcome is perceived to be both uncertain and important (Stephen P.Robbing, Timothy A.Judge, Neharika Vohra, 2017).

Furthermore, the word ‘stress’ was generated by Hans Selye. He defined it as an unexpected and unpredicted response of the brain and body to change. Stress is a self-produced pain occurring in thoughts. It varies in different situations and environments.

Managing stress is nothing new. For more than a century, leaders have recognized that stress is a significant factor in the workplace (Cannon, 1915/1929; Quick, Wright, Adkins, Nelson, & Quick, 2013). Stress affects a broad range of issues salient to organizational leaders; for example, Quick et al. (2013) demonstrate the relationship between workplace stress and performance, job attitudes, psychological well-being, worker health, absenteeism, turnover, and other workplace behaviors. As key strategic players in modern organizations, human resource professionals must help manage workplace stress by minimizing negative stress and optimizing positive stress.

The most critical point in stress management in the workplace is the diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation of human resource management. The company is responsible for the initiation of these three programs through the human resource department, especially helping the newbies to fit into their roles without stress. In the event of stress in the workplace, a human resource manager must come into foster sanity. Here are the tips for managing stress through human resource at work:

Implementing wellness programs

 These programs assist in managing employee’s lives by eliminating stress at work and home. Human resource works with other departments like health and safety to formulate and pass policies based on the solutions that the employees have identified.

Stress management in the workplace calls for a joint report on the primary causative agents. Usually, human resource focuses on finding out why an employee is distressed. Just like in a hospital, human resource needs to decipher this point before exploring the options for treatment.   3. "Great place to work" is means employee can achieve the organisational goal with managing stress which had in the workplace. every job contains with stress and high Absentieesm and high ETO are symptoms of unwanted stress in the workplace.
